Day 2 | 21-day Reiki Retreat – Reiki Precepts

As mentioned in Day 1 of the 21-day Reiki Retreat, one of the things that is requested of a student at the completion of  their Reiki 1 studies is to practice reciting the Reiki precepts.

Reiki precepts are Reiki rules of conduct and are taught during Reiki I training. They were developed by Founder Mikao Usui and are utilized to help students on their spiritual journey. Reciting the precepts is a fairly simple process. But as your connection to the recitation strengthens, suddenly this simple process becomes quite empowering.

Sit in a quiet place for a few minutes – perhaps first thing in the morning and then again at night – and silently recite the precepts. And while doing so think about what each is saying as you are whispering them to yourself. Get a “feel” for what they are meaning to you at that moment. Do this for 21 days and then journal about it.

Additionally, take some time to look into learning or receiving Reiki. It’s the best thing you can do for your well-being. It’s easy to learn, with you for life and constantly at work in your favor.

Learn Reiki and the Reiki precepts. You’re worth it…aren’t you?!
