That was a response from a friend of mine who works in radio when I asked why he shares with his listeners “old news”.

I never forgot that wisdom.

And so while I cannot imagine there exists a person who is not familiar with Steve Jobs’ 2005 Standford University commencement speech, I heed my friend’s wisdom that “there is always someone who is hearing something for the first time” and I share Jobs speech with you.

Perhaps one might think that the one and only Steve Jobs has lived a life of luxury, success, fame and fortune and that he couldn’t possibly be able to relate to the common man struggling to succeed amidst adversity.
